Michael Kearns - Chief Executive Officer

Michael is founder and CEO of Amartus and has over 18 years experience in the software industry. Prior to Amartus, Michael led the Product Strategy team at Marconi Communications Ireland (formerly FORE System and Euristix) where he held overall responsibility for its multi-service broadband Network Management Solution strategy. Michael came to this role as a Principal Engineer where he had technical responsibility for architecture and design. Prior to this Michael worked for a number of top software companies in the US, UK and Ireland. Michael graduated from University College Dublin in 1992 with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.

Richard Meade - Chief Operating Officer

Richard is founder and COO of Amartus with over 18 years experience in the software industry. Before this he worked with both Michael & Maurizio in Marconi Communications, where he was Engineering Manager for their multi-service network management solution. He arrived at this position after a number of years producing telecoms management solutions, working with clients from analysis right through to delivery. Richard graduated from University College Dublin in 1992 with a BSc (Joint Hons) in Mathematics & Computer Science.

Maurizio Sturlesi - Chief Technical Officer

Maurizio Sturlesi is a senior manager and software architect with a proven track record in software architectures, development and consulting. Maurizio has over 16 years experience delivering complex telecoms software solutions for leading solutions providers. Prior to joining Amartus, Maurizio was Consulting Manager & Senior Consultant with Orbism Ltd, a leading Irish consultancy firm in emerging technologies. There he worked directly with the CEO on new business development and played a key role in technical analysis & delivery of software solutions to a number of clients. Prior to Orbism, Maurizio was employed with Marconi Ireland, where he worked with Michael and Richard for several years. In Marconi, Maurizio held several senior technical positions, including the technical leadership of their Network Management Alarm Manager Component. Maurizio graduated in 1995 from the University of Milan with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.

Bruce Katzel - Director of Sales North America

Bruce is the most recent addition to the Amartus senior team and assumes responsibility for sales in North America. He is a career sales professional with 20+ years experience in senior sales roles at leading technology companies. He has been instrumental in success of a number of start-up OSS / BSS companies including Intelliden (acquired by IBM), Ineo, Granite (acquired by Telcordia), Cross Key, CCMI & ACE*COMM, he has a deep understanding of the Large Enterprise, Financial, Government and Service Provider market place.

Olga Havel - Chief Solutions Architect

Olga is heading the New Product Development activities at Amartus, providing thought leadership on products and solutions for management of Next Generation Networks. Olga is a software development professional with over 20 years experience in OSS and networking, working for major vendors and software companies based in Ireland, USA, Sweden, UK and Bosnia. Prior to joining Amartus, Olga was a Principal Engineer at Ericsson, working on network management strategy, solutions and architecture for Data Networks Business Unit (formerly Marconi, FORE Systems and Euristix). Olga has MSc degree from University College Dublin and a BEng degree from University of Sarajevo.
